本实验室将运用蛋白质生物化学和结构生物学方法（包括蛋白质晶体学，蛋白电镜和核磁共振等）来研究跨膜细胞信号传递的分子机理，主要的研究领域包括（但不局限于）植物激素受体，病毒与宿主的识别，以及人类的重要的神经受体如GPCR蛋白等。在生物化学、蛋白质化学和结构生物学方面经验丰富者将得到优先考虑。详情请见谢灿实验室主页.

Postdoctoral Fellow positions are available to study the molecular mechanism of transmembrane signaling in the lab of Can Xie, Ph.D., School of Life Sciences at Peking University.

The lab focuses on understanding how cells communicate with each other and how they sense the environment. Important membrane and cell surface proteins are our major targets. Multiple biochemical and structural biological techniques including negative staining EM, cryo-EM, NMR and X-ray crystallography will be applied.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge/interest in structural biology, a strong biochemistry background, and experience with cell culture, protein purification. Candidates should have a Ph.D. or M.D. degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a closely related discipline and be capable of directing a specific project in a collaborative environment. Candidates must be highly motivated with excellent oral and written communication skills.
